Tal como já referi algumas vezes, o Avô foi o grande responsável por eu ter começado a fotografar Arte Urbana.
Quando há uns anos comecei no urbex, não havia um abandonado (na Margem Sul) que não tivesse uma das suas carinhas redondas.
Com o meu espírito de colecionador, comecei a juntar mais fotos de abandonados e de graffiti e street art, as quais deram lugar à minha página de Instagram e, recentemente, a este novo projeto do site/blog.
Foram várias as suposições que fui formulando (se era novo ou velho, se era do Seixal ou de outro concelho, se pintava sozinho ou em grupo).
Ao fim de três anos, lá o conheci.
Qual o significado do teu tag?
Um trocadilho. Gostei por ser um tag fora do comum...
Provavelmente, não existirá mais ninguém com ele, com o acento pelo menos.
Quando começou o teu interesse pelo graffiti e quais foram as tuas influências na altura?
Começou em 2011.
Não sei se tive alguma influência em específico. Na altura, lembro-me de ver HF, UAS, CHS, pouco mais... Não tomava tanta atenção como agora.
Como era a cena no graffiti quando começaste?
Como é agora. Sempre os suspeitos do costume!
Quais são os teus spots / cidades preferidos?
Gosto da ideia de um spot ser "exclusivo" / isolado, onde tenham estado poucas pessoas.
A cidade preferida será onde ainda não pintei. ;)
Wall of fame, Street bombing ou Train bombing?
Não consigo escolher nenhum desses. Gosto de montar a banca na street, para cenas mais demoradas...
Qual é o teu processo criativo e quais são as tuas inspirações?
Um pouco errático. Não posso dizer que tenha uma rotina, de sketching pelo menos. Desenho sem nada em mente e, neste ponto, grande parte são variações de alguma coisa que já tenha feito antes.
Inspirações tenho demasiadas para serem mencionadas aqui. Mas tenho que referir as pessoas com quem pinto, por me fazerem sair da minha zona de conforto.
Pintas com sketch ou freestyle?
Depende do estilo de pintura e se é algo novo ou se é uma pintura mais habitual. Mas diria que estou mais à vontade com um sketch feito.
Qual é o teu top 3 de writers portugueses?
E de writers estrangeiros?
Preferes pintar sozinho ou em grupo?
Atualmente, entre amigos tem sempre mais piada. Mas sozinho tem as suas vantagens.
Como descreves o panorama atual do graffiti em Portugal?
Os mesmos de sempre a fazerem a diferença...
Qual é a tua melhor peça?
Não sou a pessoa certa para responder a isso. Provavelmente, não conseguiria escolher só uma.
Quais são os teus planos / projetos futuros?
Ter uma lateral de um prédio cheia de carinhas amarelas. Pintar superfícies diferentes e paredes fora do comum. Gostava de experimentar outros meios e, possivelmente, lançar uma zine.
Tens alguma história que queiras partilhar?
Desistir de continuar uma pintura porque não tinha a tinta que precisava, atolar o carro a sair e ser safo… pela GNR. Good fellas!

Aos que puxam por mim e a quem gosta das minhas cenas. À PSP e à GNR. Aos homens das obras… pelo menos, recebem dinheiro para pintar as paredes dos outros!

As I have already mentioned a few times, Avô was largely responsible for me starting to photograph Urban Art.
When I started in urbex a few years ago, there wasn't an abandoned one (on the South Bank) that didn't have one of their little round faces.
With my collector's spirit, I started collecting more photos of abandoned buildings and graffiti and street art, which gave way to my Instagram page and, recently, to this new website/blog project.
There were several assumptions I formulated (whether he was young or old, whether he was from Seixal or another municipality, whether he painted alone or in a group).
After three years, I met him there.
What does your tag mean?
A pun. I liked it because it was an unusual tag...
There probably won't be anyone else like him, at least with the accent.
When did your interest in graffiti begin and what were your influences at the time?
It started in 2011.
I don't know if I had any specific influence. At the time, I remember seeing HF, UAS, CHS, little else... I didn't pay as much attention as I do now.
What was the graffiti scene like when you started?
As it is now. Always the usual suspects!
What are your favorite spots/cities?
I like the idea of a spot being "exclusive" / isolated, where few people have been.
My favorite city will be where I haven't painted yet. ;)
Wall of fame, Street bombing or Train bombing?
I can't choose any of these. I like to set up the stall on the street, for longer scenes...
What is your creative process and what are your inspirations?
A little erratic. I can't say that I have a routine, sketching at least. I draw with nothing in mind and, at this point, most of it is variations of something I've already done before. I have too many inspirations to be mentioned here. But I have to mention the people I paint with, for making me step out of my comfort zone.
Do you paint with sketch or freestyle?
It depends on the style of painting and whether it is something new or whether it is a more common painting. But I would say I'm more comfortable with a sketch done.
What is your top 3 Portuguese writers?
And foreign writers?
GATS, Os gémeos and PAL crew.
Do you prefer to paint alone or in a group?
Nowadays, between friends there is always more fun. But alone it has its advantages. How would you describe the current graffiti scene in Portugal? The same ones as always making a difference...
What is your best piece?
I'm not the right person to answer that. I probably wouldn't be able to choose just one.
What are your future plans/projects?
Having the side of a building full of yellow faces. Paint different surfaces and unusual walls. I would like to try other media and possibly launch a zine.
Do you have a story you want to share?
Giving up on continuing a painting because I didn't have the paint I needed, getting the car stuck on the way out and being safe... by the GNR. Good fellas!
