Quem segue o blog com atenção ou já me conheceu pessoalmente já percebeu que é "recente" o meu gosto pelo universo do graffiti. Sem antecedentes, nunca tendo pintado e com um grupo de amigos que apenas aprecia as grandes obras coloridas e com "bonecos", todo o knowledge de que disponho até agora é fruto de pesquisas, leituras e conversas de ocasião que vou tendo com os writers com que me tenho cruzado (ainda ontem tive oportunidade de conhecer o Treze, o Fisk e o Fugsy, num evento a decorrer no Seixal).
O resto vem do Instagram. É lá que fico a par de jams ou eventos que vão acontecer, dos spots do momento, de writers estrangeiros que se encontrem por Lisboa e até das entradas e saídas de membros de crews (sempre sem tomar partidos nesse tipo de situações).
É claro que toda a informação com que me cruzo é falível e carece de confirmação. Tal como referi num post anterior, quando comecei a fotografar as peças da FLeD pensei que se tratava de um rapaz, por causa de alguns sítios abandonados e isolados em que encontrava os seus trabalhos.
Por se tratar de um meio dominado pelo género masculino, é sempre com gosto que trago uma entrevista no feminino. Ainda mais por se tratar de uma writer local e que, apesar de estar no graff há pouco tempo, não tem parado nos concelhos de Almada e vizinhos. Espero que gostem.
Qual é o significado do teu tag? Até partilhava se não fosse pessoal. Posso dizer que foi algo que nasceu em Almada e surgiu de um jantar entre amigos, há muitos anos atrás, e que, quando comecei a pensar no tag, foi um “É isto! FLeD!". E começou a pesquisa por lettering.
Quando começou o teu interesse pelo graffiti e quais foram as tuas influências na altura? Por volta de 2018, quando conheci algumas pessoas relacionadas com o meio. Embora não tenha sido a área que segui, sempre tive interesse por artes. Veio despertar uma paixão antiga, o desenho, o gosto de criar algo.
Influências, posso dizer que absorvi o máximo de dicas que me deram. Ver muito, pesquisar muito, tudo o que nos rodeia influencia-nos. Em 2019 dei a minha primeira peça, correu bem e gasto latas sempre que posso.
Como era a cena no graffiti quando começaste? A cena do graffiti, porque lidei com pessoas com anos de graff e outras não com tantos, sei que é diferente do que era há anos atrás e é diferente do que será daqui a muitos anos. Quanto ao espírito do graff, enquanto esse permanecer, vão sempre haver writers e graffiti nas ruas!
Sendo mulher, alguma vez foste alvo de machismo no mundo do graffiti? Não vejo como sendo mulher, mas como sendo pessoa. Sendo pessoa, provavelmente já fui discriminada porque as pessoas têm a sua opinião, sejam elas do sexo feminino ou masculino. São meras opiniões que, até hoje, não travaram nenhum fled.
Como é o teu processo criativo e onde vais buscar as tuas inspirações? Vou buscar as inspirações a mim própria, desenho consoante o meu estado de espírito. Se quiser algo específico procuro desenhos na net e baseio-me por ai, se não é o que sair.
Sempre ouvi que os aquarianos são criativos demais! Deve ser por isso!
Wall of fame, street bombing ou train bombing? Wall of fame só se quiser dar uma peça mais tranquila, Street bombing para mim é o graff, Train bombing não posso falar porque não pintei nenhum comboio.
Quais são os teus spots / cidades preferidos? O meu spot preferido vai ser sempre a Arealva, porque era lá que passava tardes sozinha a dar os meus fleds.
Pintas com sketch ou freestyle? Normalmente chego ao pé da parede e é como sai, freestyle. Já usei sketch mas não dava, bombing não tem tempo para ver sketch! 🤣🙏
Preferes pintar sozinha ou em grupo? Depende, gosto de pintar sozinha mas também gosto de pintar com os meus. Depende do mood. Mas tenho pintado maioritariamente com a crew dos AS (Astnrs) e corre sempre bem. Qual é o(a) melhor parceiro(a) de pinturas? O meu partner das pinturas vai ser sempre o Frame! Foram belas tardes, bons spots!
Qual é a tua lata preferida? Em tempos, era o Silver da Kobra. Agora tem sido a Molotow Burner Chrome, por ter o sistema de silêncio que dá sempre jeito.
O que toca na tua playlist quando pintas? Quando pinto, normalmente não toca nada, porque tenho que estar atenta. Quando desenho, maioritariamente hip hop.
Mas a música, desde que saiba bem no ouvido, é bem vinda.
Como descreves o panorama atual do graffiti em Portugal? Eu gosto de pintar os meus Fleds, mas não estou muito por dentro do que se passa no graffiti. Qual é o teu top 3 de writers portugueses? Sen e ficamos por aqui.
Com que writer gostarias de fazer uma peça conjunta? Quando chegar a altura, eles vão saber.
Qual é o teu melhor trabalho? Acho que ainda não tenho o melhor, porque ainda tenho muito que aperfeiçoar. Mas o que mais gosto é um silver que pintei num canal.
Quais são os teus planos / projetos futuros?
Continuar a pintar enquanto a vida permitir!
Tens alguma história que queiras partilhar? Tantas, mas muitas só têm piada para nós mesmos, quando depois corre tudo bem e dizemos aquele “Uuufffff! Ainda não foi desta!". 😂

Anyone who follows the blog closely or has met me personally has already noticed that my taste for the graffiti universe is "recent". With no background, having never painted and with a group of friends who only appreciate the great colored works and with "puppets", all the knowledge I have so far is the result of research, reading and occasional conversations I have with writers with that I have come across (just yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Treze, Fisk and Fugsy, at an event taking place in Seixal). The rest comes from Instagram. It's there that I keep up with jams or events that are going to happen, the spots of the moment, foreign writers who are in Lisbon and even the arrivals and departures of crew members (always without taking sides in these types of situations). Of course, all the information I come across is fallible and needs confirmation. As I mentioned in a previous post, when I started photographing FLeD pieces I thought it was a boy, because of some abandoned and isolated places where I found his works. As it is a male-dominated medium, it is always with pleasure that I bring a female interview. Even more so because she is a local writer and, despite being in the graff for a short time, she has not stopped in Almada and neighboring municipalities. Hope you like it.
What is the meaning of your tag?
Even shared if it wasn't personal. I can say that it was something that was born in Almada and emerged from a dinner with friends, many years ago, and that, when I started thinking about the tag, it was a “That's it! FLeD!” And the search for lettering began.
When did your interest in graffiti begin and what were your influences at the time?
Around 2018, when I met some people related to the medium. Although it was not the area that I followed, I have always been interested in the arts. It came to awaken an old passion, drawing, the taste of creating something.
Influences, I can say that I absorbed as many tips as they gave me. Seeing a lot, researching a lot, everything around us influences us. In 2019 I gave my first piece, it went well and I spend cans whenever I can.
What was the graffiti scene like when you started?
The graffiti scene, because I've dealt with people with years of graff and others with not so many, I know it's different from what it was years ago and it's different from what it will be many years from now. As for the spirit of graff, as long as it remains, there will always be writers and graffiti on the streets!
As a woman, have you ever been the target of machismo in the graffiti world?
I don't see it as a woman, but as a person. As a person, I've probably been discriminated against because people have their opinion, whether they're female or male. They are mere opinions that, until today, have not stopped any fled.
How is your creative process and where do you get your inspirations?
I'll get inspiration from myself, drawing according to my state of mind. If I want something specific, I look for drawings on the net and I base it on there, if not what to get out.
I've always heard that Aquarians are too creative! That must be it!
Wall of fame, street bombing or train bombing?
Wall of fame only if I want to give a quieter piece, Street bombing for me is graff, Train bombing I can't talk because I didn't paint any train.
What are your favorite spots / cities?
My favorite spot will always be Arealva, because that's where I spent afternoons alone giving my fleds.
Do you paint with sketch or freestyle?
I usually get to the bottom of the wall and that's how it comes out, freestyle. I've used sketch but it didn't work, bombing doesn't have time to see sketch! 🤣🙏
Do you prefer to paint alone or in a group?
It depends, I like to paint alone but I also like to paint with mine. Depends on the mood. But I have mostly painted with the AS crew (Astnrs) and it always goes well.
Who is the best painting partner?
My painting partner will always be Frame! They were beautiful afternoons, good spots!
What is your favorite can?
Once upon a time, it was Kobra's Silver. Now it has been Molotow Burner Chrome, for having the silence system that always comes in handy.
What plays on your playlist when you paint? When I paint, I usually don't hear anything, because I have to be alert. When I draw, mostly hip hop. But music, as long as it feels right in the ear, is welcome.
How do you describe the current situation of graffiti in Portugal? I like to paint my Fleds, but I'm not really into what goes on in graffiti. What is your top 3 of Portuguese writers? Sen and we stop here. And from foreign writers? Aura Rasko Kezam Which writer would you like to do a joint piece with? When the time comes, they will know. What is your best work? I don't think I have the best yet, because I still have a lot to improve. But what I like the most is a silver that I painted in a canal. What are your future plans/projects? Keep on painting as long as life allows! Do you have a story you want to share? So many, but many are only funny to ourselves, when everything goes well and we say that “Uuufffff!
