Este é um dos abandonados que mais me fascina desde que o descobri nos meus tempos de urbex.
Localizada numa zona algo isolada, na qual predominam o verde e os trilhos para a prática de caminhadas e outras atividades desportivas, a construção sobressai na paisagem que a ladeia devido à quantidade de betão.
Aparte o edifício principal de linhas retas (bem ao meu gosto), foi uma parede na espécie de cave que me cativou há uns anos, por ter visto nela uma "tela" com muito potencial.
Depois de o ter entrevistado recentemente, voltei a cruzar-me com o Tempero Diabético quando o artista veio pintar a Corroios num dos Murais da Liberdade (uma iniciativa da Câmara Municipal do Seixal). Foi lá que o convidei para vir pintar neste "sítio secreto".
A manhã começou calma pelos lados de Almada, onde tive oportunidade de lhe mostrar alguns dos ex-líbris do património industrial e militar que se encontram em decadência.
Depressa rumámos à parede escolhida, que o artista convidado "atacou" por volta do almoço.
Jogando com a luz que emana da abertura superior, a peça do meu convidado, que faz lembrar algumas imagens da iconografia religiosa, engrandeceu o espaço e o resultado foi extraordinário.
Quem será o primeiro a ser surpreendido por esta peça magnífica neste spot secreto?

This is one of the abandoned buildings that fascinates me the most since I discovered it during my time in Urbex.
Located in a somewhat isolated area, dominated by greenery and trails for hiking and other sporting activities, the building stands out in the surrounding landscape due to the amount of concrete.
Apart from the main building with straight lines (quite to my taste), it was a wall in the basement that captivated me a few years ago, as I saw it as a "canvas" with a lot of potential.
After having interviewed him recently, I came across Tempero Diabético again when the artist came to paint Corroios in one of the Murais da Liberdade (an initiative of the Seixal Municipal Council). It was there that I invited him to come and paint in this "secret place".
We quickly headed to the chosen wall, which the guest artist "attacked" around lunch. Playing with the light emanating from the upper opening, my guest's piece, which is reminiscent of some images from religious iconography, enhanced the space and the result was extraordinary.
Who will be the first to be surprised by this magnificent piece in this secret spot?
