Secret spot #4 SNEB

Para o 4º Secret Spot queria alguém forte no lettering.

O local já estava escolhido, só faltava o convidado.

Membro dos Polichromatics Monters (PLM), Sneb já leva mais de 20 anos dedicados às letras.

Foi por altura da Covid que comecei a seguir o seu trabalho, a partir de várias peças que fui encontrando por Oeiras e arredores.

Depois de alguma modéstia, por não se sentir equiparado "aos pioneiros e aos writers que fizeram do graff o que é hoje", lá condescendeu em fazer parte dos entrevistados do blog três anos depois do primeiro convite.

Com um novo segmento, fiz-lhe um novo convite. Depois de lhe ter falado do Secret Spot e lhe ter mostrado o primeiro episódio com o Tempero Diabético, o writer gostou do conceito dos easter eggs e mostrou-se imediatamente disponível para participar.

Foi durante as férias do Verão que fomos trocando ideias pelo Instagram e lhe fiz chegar as características do local: uma parede alta, numa piscina abandonada, onde domina o tom azul.

No dia combinado, apresentou-se equipado para a empreitada, com o seu escadote, uma braçada de latas e os seus chinelos de dedo.

O escadote afinal ficou curto mas lá nos desenrascámos com dois frigoríficos que por ali haviam.

Acima e abaixo uma manhã inteira, Sneb deixou um lettering pesado e levou para casa uns gémeos dignos de um culturista.

No fim, foi mais uma manhã bem passada.

Antes de arrancar, ainda levei o meu convidado a conhecer mais um dos abandonados da zona.

For the 4th Secret Spot I wanted someone strong in lettering.

The location had already been chosen, all that was missing was the guest.

A member of the Polichromatics Monters (PLM), Sneb has spent more than 20 years dedicated to letters.

It was at the time of Covid that I started following his work, based on several pieces that I found in Oeiras and surrounding areas.

After some modesty, because he didn't feel like he was "equal to the pioneers and writers who made graff what it is today", he agreed to be part of the blog's interviewees three years after the first invitation.

With a new segment, I made you a new invitation. After telling him about Secret Spot and showing him the first episode with Tempero Diabético, the writer liked the concept of easter eggs and was immediately available to participate.

It was during the summer holidays that we exchanged ideas via Instagram and I shared with him the characteristics of the place: a high wall, in an abandoned swimming pool, where the blue tone dominates.

On the agreed day, he showed up equipped for the task, with his ladder, an armful of cans and his flip-flops.

The ladder ended up being short, but we managed to get by with two refrigerators that were there.

Up and down an entire morning, Sneb left some heavy lettering and took home some twins worthy of a bodybuilder.

In the end, it was another morning well spent.

Before setting off, I took my guest to see another of the abandoned buildings in the area.
